Getting To MMW2027 in Vernon BC
Vernon sits at the intersection of Highways 97 and Highway 6. Highway 1 is just 45 minutes north. Vernon is 441 km from Vancouver, BC, 556 km from Calgary, AB, and 184 km from the US/Canada border. You can get to highway 97 from BC #1 highway, Highway 5 and 97C, or highway 3/3A. All routes provide great roads and fabulous scenery. Highway 5 ( the Coquihalla highway ) has large elevation climbs – ie 33 km of up hill!) The other routes all have highway mountain passes to enjoy. Highway 97 is fairly flat and winds along the Okanagan Valley and Lakes.
